v Abstract Author: František Čamr Supervisor: Mgr. Irena Novotná Title: Case study of physiotherapeutic care of a patient after stabilization of the acromioclavicular joint. Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to present a case study of physiotherapeutic care of a patient after stabilization of acromioclavicular joint, to provide a theoretical introduction to the issue and to prove the effect of selected physiotherapeutic methods and procedures in practice. Methods: This thesis was prepared during a continuous professional practice at the clinic of the Centre for Treatment of the Musculoskeletal System in the period from 9. 1. 2023 to 3. 2. 2023. The case report of physiotherapy care of the patient consists of a medical history, initial kinesiological examination, on the basis of which a short-term and long- term therapeutic plan was determined. Nine therapeutic units were performed, ending with an exit kinesiological examination and an assessment of the effect of therapy. Results: During nine therapies, the patient's physical condition improved. The improvements were mainly in range of motion in the shoulder joint, increased muscle strength, and improved movement patterns and activities of daily living. Conclusion: The above bachelor's thesis demonstrates that effective physiotherapy can return a patient...
An atypical alignment of the acromioclavicular joint of ice hockey players and searching for possible causes

The title of the master thesis: An Atypical alignment of acromioclavicular joint in ice hockey players and the search of possible causes Abstract in English languge: The goal of this thesis is to find out whether atypical acromioclavicular placement of a joint occurs bilaterally in a statistically significant measure with ice hockey players in comparison to a group of individuals who do not play ice hockey professionally and clarify the causes involved in the origin of this placement. Theoretical findings proceed from the anatomy, kinesiology, physiology and biomechanics of the shoulder string, which enables us to understand the matters of this segment and suggest possible pathological changes influenced by a stereotyped and sportive pressure. Part of the theoretical base are also specific pathologies, which form due to burdening the body segments and occur with ice hockey players. An experimental group of active ice hockey players (n1 = 100) in the ages of 13-33 without previous injuries in the area of the clavicle (fracture, luxation) and probands took part in the measurements as well as a group of non-ice hockey players, who had never played hockey professionally (n2 = 100) in the same age group. The measurements were done using the photogrammetric method with the application of a systematic...

Case study of patient with diclocation of acromioclavicular joint
Lyse, Thomas Egeland ; Malá, Jitka (advisor) ; Mahr, Edwin (referee)
Title: Case Study of a Patient with Dislocation of Acromioclavicular Joint. Thesis aim: The aim of this thesis is to discuss the rehabilitation of a patient in the state after reposition of the acromioclavicular joint with temporary K-wire transfixation. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. In the theoretical part the kinesiology of the upper extremity and cervical spine, types of dislocations, clinical picture, and the rehabilitation is discussed. The practical part includes an anamnesis, examination, and therapy progress of a 31 year old man one week after the removal of the transfixation by K-wire. Clinical findings: The measurement of ROM showed a marked limitation in the movement of shoulder joint. Both flexion and abduction of the right shoulder joint was severely limited. The active abduction was limited to 40ř, and active flexion 80ř. The internal and external rotation was also severely limited, both active and passively. All the movements of shoulder joint except extention were accompanied by pain. Methods: Methods used in the rehabilitation of this patient were active and passive movements to improve ROM. Soft tissue techniques for the scar and trigger points, and fascia techniques for restricted fascia. PIR was used for relaxation of hypertonic muscles. PNF...
